Domestic Violence

I have been charged twice before for domestic violence against my wife and got off by doing anger management classes and was on court supervision for the 2007 case. on dec. 21,2008 i was charged again with domestic violence against her and had to turn my self in got out with a 1000 bond. I am hearing that because i was still on court supervision i am going to be retried for that case as well as this case is that true. And also was is the most time i can get. Also if she doesnt show up for court this time will the case be dropped. Thank you I have court on feb 19 2009 and need some advice. Thanks

Since you have a prior dv case, this one can be upgraded to a felony. That is at the discretion of the state's attorney. If that is the case, there is a possible three years in prison.
