Drug Charge

I was arrested and have been to court and plead out. I'm on 12 months court supervision and now the arresting officer is trying to get me to work undercover for him to bust some other people or he says he will bring up more charges against me. Can he do this?

Yes, the officer can try to scare you into working for him. In fact, there may even be a factual basis for separate criminal charges against you. But I would strongly advise against you agreeing to anything with this officer. Cooperation by taking part in undercover work was probably not a condition of your being placed on supervision, and if there is a factual basis for separate additional charges, they can be brought whether or not you work for the officer. Your attorney should advise you, but I would only consider working with the law enforcement people after some legally enforceable deal has been signed off on by the state's attorney's office.
