Re: old drug charges

It seems to me that your husband needs to hire an attorney as soon as possible, especially if there is a warrant out for his arrest. In many cases the attorney can be of great assistance in making the initial booking and bonding out of jail process easier. Then, the attorney can review the court file, review all of the evidence that the state has against your husband, and research the law so that the attorney will be be able to advise your husband whether or not the charges might be dropped. Depending upon your location, I may be able to offer my services. I have handled a substantial number of drug cases in various Illinois courts over the twenty-five years I have been practicing law. You or your husband may call me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822. Whether you call me or not, I wish you both good luck.

Re: old drug charges

#1 - he has to face the music - you have to get the case back on the call. #2 - only the state's attorney can drop the charges if any were ever filed.
