I did not do any field sobriety tests -- why did they arrest me!!!

The officer claims that you were unfit to drive. You do not have to perform filed sobriety tests for the officer to form a basis for your arrest.

The officer will claim that he smelled a strong odor of alcohol on your breath. The State must still prove beyond a reasonable doubt that you were impaired while driving. Unless you were in an accident, that's not easy for the State. However, this does not just happen. You need the services of a criminal defense lawyer. Please call for furthur discussion.
