Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Endangerment
Can a Sherriff's department be charged with reckless endangerment for releasing a criminal inappropriately at 06:00 am with no way to get home, unaccompanied, no money, no coat (temp 20 degrees), and left to wander into a residential area (no fence at the prison) and scare me to death (not knowing if he had a weapon or had escaped) begging me to left him in my house?
