Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
What evidence is needed to convict on felony theft? If there were 6 not related people that had the oportunity to take the money and nobody saw anyone take it. There is also no cameras that show theft. It only shows people coming and going. One person had a bag.

The burden of proof is no different that in a misdemeanor. The evidence must be sufficient to show beyond a reasonable doubt that the accused committed the crime.
