How do you go about expunging a charge of shoplifting from you criminal record and how much would this cost?

Retail theft can be expunged for theft of property with a value which does not exceed $150.00 (first offense).
Getting your record expunged or sealed will cost you a filing fee plus $60.00 for the Illinois State Police. Filing fees vary from county to county.
