Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

False battery charge-- this 60 something year old lady said I grabbed her pulled her by her clothes and pushed her out of a chair-.

I was wondering if email documents regarding a false battery charge can be used as evidence against a person. I only have1 piece of the broken eyeglasses and emails that I sent to another

person letting know when these incidents happened. I did have voice messages of her calling my number but my phone deletes them automatically after sometime has passed. I don't know how she got my number (probably from the boyfriend's phone).

1st meeting lady in question:

She came to address where boyfriend and I were staying asked for him and I said he wasn't there--let me call him. She said something about his car being broke. I did call him-but she left before I spoke to her again. Come to find out she gave me a false name. I just described her to him & told him what car she was driving.

You should hire an attorney to represent you on this charge and then go over all of the facts with your attorney. There is really nothing that an attorney responding to questions posted on this website can do to actually provide you with much help. Good luck.
