If someone changes the date on an auto insururance card what sort of offense is this, what statutes apply,what penalty does it carry?

Hello. In my opinion, one who changes the date
on an insurance card and uses it based upon the
date that they put on the card can be charged
with felony insurance fraud. They might get probation or have to spend time in jail for more
than a year, depending upon whether they have
a criminal background.
