If I was falsely accused of a crime and hired a lawyer can I go back and sue for

I was accused of a spitting on another person he chased me at a high speed for 19 miles, he pressed charges and I was found not guilty, I had a witness that was in the car with me. Can I go to small claim to get back the money I lost for my lawyer and for the day he chased me. I had tickets to go to conference I was to meet 4 other people there which I did not make due to his chasing me I have a police report For which I filed because he chase me at a high rate do of speed all the while I was on the phone with 911 and the conference started at 8:00 at that time I was on the toll way with a police officer writing up a complaint The tickets were 225.00 a piece the lawyer bill was 500.00 and time off of work to go to this meeting and court

There is an action called malicious prosecution, however, this is very specific and more details would be needed.
