My uncle audie--name removed--went to jail for having a meth lab in his home twice but was never cauht actually making it how many years can he serve for that and can he get probation or bail? There are people in my town that got caught for the same thing only they were caught actually making it at the time they were caught and there is talk that they are getting out soon can that happen since they were caught making it? If your uncle was arrested and charged in Federal Court, then there is very little chance of probation. The amount of time he is facing would depend upon the specific details of the charge(s) he is facing. If he does not already have an attorney there is no doubt that he should have one. If he can not afford a private attorney, then the Court will appoint one for him. The attorney can then answer any questions, and can hopefully provide competent legal services to your uncle.
