Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Felony Charges
I was laid off from my job on 12-2-08. After my company laid me off, they deposted a very large amount in my bank account (by error), without notifying me. After, checking my bank account and relized the money was there, I was dumb enough to spend it. They sent an investigator to my home but I refuse to talk to him without an attorney. My attentions is to pay every dime back.
Can they press charges against me?
Will I go to jail?
