Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Felony to a Misdemeanor?
My friend will have her first pelimanary trial next week for posession of a controlled substance of .3 grams that were put on her. She has a clean record and has never been locked up before. Is there any way her felony would be dropped to a misdemeanor?

Re: Felony to a Misdemeanor?
There are no misdemeanor PCS cases. However, there are court diversion programs available which may put your friend in a position to have her case dimissed. These programs are often obtained with the help of an attorney. Please call or e-mail for a free consultation.
