Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
If I'm on felony probation in Illinois and I absconded to a nother state and become arrested or detained, will Illinois come to, let's say Can, NV,As,or Or to pick me up?

Hello. Yes, you could be returned to the State of Illinois. The legal term for this is "extradition" which is defined as the surrender by one state to another of an individual accused or convicted of an offense outside of its own territory and within the territorial jurisdiction of the other, which being competent to try and punish him, demands the surrender.
Law enforcement agencies now have the benefit of database resources and can easily determine whether a person is on felony probation.
