Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
i am trying to find what job opportunities there are for a felon. The felony is almost 8 years old if that helps any.

Unfortunately, the word "felon" doesn't help, as you well know, no matter how long ago it might be. Certain jobs simply won't allow it -- security companies, financial institutions, any company where the job includes handling money (and especially other peoples' money)..... Your best bet would be to go to your local State, county or local employment office. They may have the best handle on available jobs. By the way, when you talk about it, you WERE a felon, not ARE a felon, right?
