I was charged and convicted of 2 felonys, back in 96. I was given 1 year on each case that was to run concurent.I servred 62 days in the ill.dept. of corrections. Well now I am working 2 jobs, and finally got custody of my son back.I have been off parole since 97. could you tell me is there anyway to get these convictions expunged or pardoned or anything I cant get a decent job or get on with my life. I realize what was in the past was all my fault, but i served my time, paid my debt to society, is there anything i can do,short of changing my identity?please let me know.thanks.

Re: How to be free of criminal conviction?
You may think about seeking a pardon
from one or both convictions. Give
this careful thought. It won't
hurt to try. I suggest that you
contact the Governor's Office in
Springfield for more information.
