Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
i have a friend that has been locked up for 5 months due to they say that he has bitten the police and that he ran, Now the running part is true but they have not come up with police hospital records everytime he has been to court the cont his case for another month. Now I talked to the Public Defender who say the same story I am still waiting on the police officer records. What can I do to help him after 5 months it dont take this long to get no record from no hospital.

It may be possible that a private attorney could pursue the matter more aggresively and you could hire an attorney for your friend.
