Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
A friend of mine is out on bail. Her bond states she is not allowed to leave the state, but she insists on visiting her family in another state. She hasnt decided what type of transportation she is going to use whether it be a bus,train, or a plane. I am worried that she may get caught and sent back to jail because they think she is jumping her bond even though she is not. Will this be a problem? Do any of the traveling services I mentioned above have a way of knowing she is out on bail and send her into custody? Thank you for your help.

Your friend runs the risk of having the bond revoked unless he obtains permission to leave.
