Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
my friend was at work at her desk and the "task force police" had dogs run around the vehicles in the parking lot of her work and said that they had a hit and came in to her place of employment and told her to come outside and searched her vehicle and arrested her for possesion of marijuana "for a very small amount that was in the vehicle" is this legal?

Doesn't sound like it unless that had a reasonable suspicion that the vehicle contained contraband prior to the dog search. She needs to hire an attorney to represent her in criminal court.
