Re: My girl's car window!!!

People often don't get jail sentences for their first offenses. This is especially true for misdemeanors ... if your case is a misdemeanor.

You should contact an attorney and request a free consultation. After the consultation, the lawyer will let you know how much his or her services will cost.

And don't think you can bribe your way out of trouble. If you came to my office and wanted me to do something unethical or illegal, you would be asked to leave my office and I would not serve as your attorney.

The sentence range depends on the charge or charges filed against you and what if anything you are found guilty of. Lawyer charge either by the hour or a flat fee. The fee varies per case and location. You cannot pay the city to make this go away. Call me if you want to discuss.

In some situations the most important factor is restitution. Often in these types of cases, there may be a continuance to allow time for restitution to be made. That may be arranged. It is an option that your attorney can explore. In those situations the case may be dismissed. At the very least you should be eligible for court supervision which is not a conviction on your record. Feel free to contact my office for further consultation.
