Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
one guilty all guilty
A case concerning 4 defendants, all charged with armed robbery. the state cited one guilty all guilty applied.Even though they were guilty only of aggravated battery 2 plead guilty because of the threatened 30 years if they went to trial. one accepted 13 years to have the 85% rule dropped. Now the state has changed the armed robber to attempted armed robbery.I have the discovery package and the state has more evidence against this man than they had against the other 2. What can be done Now.
