gun charge and on parole

my boyfriend got arrested for pos of a firearm.......but he was on parole...his case hold 4 to 16 years clas 2 felony......im in Illinois and i just want to kno how should i go about all this......he's been in jail for 9 months

If your boyfriend has an attorney, he should communicate with his attorney. If he does not have an attorney, he needs to hae one. Perhaps you can best help him by hiring an attorney.
