Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

Harrasment
I have made several police reports for - someone threating to blow my head off with a gun while showing it in the front of his pants sticking out on a public road with witness, threating to burn my house & where I do my business down, following me into public places saying he will beat me up & kill me w/witness, coming on my privite property w/witness & damaging my property (but did not see him) lasalle county will not do anything until he does something to catch him & I cannot get a protention order. I fear for myself & my family. how far does this have to go? He also has a rap sheet long and is on meds & is crazy he mess's with everyone in town & they are afraid of him. What to do?

By threatening to blow your heasd off and showing you the gun , he committed an assault. Go to the police.
