Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Hi....back about 20 years ago, my brother-in-law through a lit cigar in my car and burned the car to the ground...I didn't know it was him until he admitted it ten years later....since it was 10 years after the fact when I found out about this, I thought it would be too late to go to the police...My brother -in-law brings it up all the time and I'm tired of it...is there any legal action I can take against this man?...he also blew up one of his neighbors mailboxes a few years back....any ideas would be great.....thank you!

Hello. You may want to consider getting an order of protection against your brother-in-law. It's not a good sign that he keeps bringing up something like that.
