Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
A high school class mate accused me of taking money from his walet while we were at an off campus
constuction site. On the site there was a total of six people, Instuctor and five students.The money was left in his parked vehicle on a public street. The assistant Principal search me and took my money. The police was called and investigated they found no evidence that led to me. Do they have the right to keep my money.
