Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Need Help?
Is their anyway that I can hire a lawyer when my boyfriend is already in jail and received his time. Can a lawyer at least take the case back into court so he can get lesser time, and how long would this take if he pleaded for 3 years.

Re: Need Help?
It depends upon how long ago your boyfriend entered his plea. There is usually a 30 day time limit for motions after the plea, though there are some exceptions to this general rule. If you wish to discuss the matter further please reply by return e-mail.
