Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Home daycare license
I am thinking of starting a home daycare but am concerned because when I was 18 I was convicted of contributing to the delinquency of a minor (I am now 29).Will this prevent me from obtaining my daycare license? The charge was because I made a stupid mistake of allowing a girl I knew into my car who was underage (15) and had snuck out of her house. We got stopped and the police arrested me.

Re: Home daycare license
That is a misdemeanor, you may be able to expunge it. I don't believe a misdemeanor will prevent you from obtaining the license.
