Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
My husband was given court supervision on a criminal misdemeanor. He did his time and never got in any trouble and went back to court one year later and was told the supervision was done. A week ago he was arrested for fines not paid for the original charge. Our paperwork shows no fines due but the filed documents shows fines due. The state's attorney changed the documents after my husband signed. What do we do?
