Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
In Illinois , at a local municipality, "no notice is given regarding CELL PHONE use or POSSESSION inside the jail cell or surrounding area. Can you still be charged with Possession or bringing this contraband in.
Also is no sign is posted that advises you that the "jail cell" itself if under 24 hour survellience.(sp)
And finally, video recording of a person "inside their cell without notice" is that Illegal.

Yes you can be charged. Yes they can keep you under surveillance. Nothing you mention is "illegal". You need an attorney who will bring up any defenses based upon lack of notice.
