illinois warrants

I left illinois in 1997 with two pending dui's. its been 10 years...are these charges still open? do they ever go away?

There most probably are warrents for your arrest in Illinois. Your license should have been suspended, and Florida would have done the same. Please call me for an appointment to clear these DUIs up.

If you were actually charged with violating the law, then my guess is that those cases are still open. If you missed court dates there would normally be warrants for your arrest issued. Also, the Illinois Courts would notify the Secretary of State who would suspend your driver's license. Other states would also be notified normally so that you would not be legal to drive in another state until the Illinois cases were taken care of by you. These things do not normally just go away.
