Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
judge changing conditions of probation after 1 year
I was sentenced in January 2005 for aggravated DUI. I am now on probation and compliant in all ways with my probation.
My probation officer has indicated that the judge stated I would not be capable of driving for the duration of my probation, however, the judge did not stipulate this on any document. Can the judge go back and change my conditions of my probation or add an addemdum to the court order/sentence? Thank you

No. No new condition can be added to a sentence, once that sentence has statrted. However, if you are convicted of violating your sentence, then new conditions may be added.
