Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I am trying to leave my controlling and abusive husband. My question is this, if I use his credit card to aide my escape, can I be prosecuted? We have been married 18 years.

If you are not an authorized user, and you use the credit card without consent, then using this credit card certainly could be construed as fraud or identity theft.
