Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Is it legal for a city and county cop to go into another county and arrest you for residential burg charge without a warrant? It is a neighboring county.

Yes it can be depending on a lot of factors, none of which you have given us, so we can't say for sure. Having said that a lot of places don't have their own police and make a contract with a neighboring place to provide police services. That's just one reason it's possible. Just like fire departments, paramedic services, etc.
