Re: How Long?

An attorney would need to interview and get all of the facts from your point of view before being able to give you any specific advice. If you hire an attorney the attorney will also obtain evrything that you are entitled to obtain from the state's attorney's office. Then your attorney can advise you concerning whether youshould take the case to trial or perhaps negotiate a plea bargain. The fact that you have no priors would certainly work in your favor. If you do not have an attorney, you may call me for a free consultation.

Re: How Long?

The charge carries a possible 1 to 3 years in prison, but there is the possibility of probation. Without further information it would be difficult to advise you. Re: How Long?

The charge is unlawful use of a weapon. Do you mean how long would the sentence be if convicted? As a first offender, it would more than likely be probation. Please call for a free consultation.
