Manslaughter

My mother -in -law is bipolar (manic depressive) She has been for 20 years Her estanged husband was aware of it when he married her They have been married for 15 years the last 3 years of their marriage she denied him relation because he would not do anything aroound the house. About 2 yrs ago he left her for another woman Approximately 6 months after he left he started promising her he was coming back But everytime they day of his return would come he would come up woith an excuse as to why he wasnot coming back the most recent return date was today and he had been counting down the days until his return and once he did not come back my mother in law has already tried to overdose once over this man and has been admitted to the psych ward at least 6 times what I want to know is if she commits sucide because of his continued cruel behavior can he be charged with man slaughter . I think he should be held responsible for his actiom

Hello. Your mother-in-law's husband, in my opinion, cannot be charged with manslaughter if

your mother-in-law commits suicide. However, the

woman with whom he is having an affair with could

be liable to your mother-in-law for alienation of

affections and of course your mother-in-law can

file for divorce on grounds of mental cruetly,

etc. I will be happy to answer any additional
