Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
In the military and getting married, fiance on probation
I am in the military, my boyfriend was charged with domestic battery of his ex wife. He has the opportunity to take a plea, which will end up with him serving 2 years probation. Once we get married, will he be able to transfer his probation to another state since I will be transferred? What are the rules on that? Thanks for your help.

He will have to request that his probation be transferred to the new state. Also, he will have to have his probation modified to permit him to leave Illinois.
