a minor testifying
can a minor age 16 be forced to testify in court on a burgulary he witnessed if his mother doesnt want him to. the minor has been supeoned

Yes, the minor can be made to testify. It becomes the parent's responsibility to comply with the law. The parent can be held in contempt of court if the parent prevents the child's testimony.

Yes. Failure to comply with a subpoena could result in court sanctions. The minor does not have to testify to events that may result in his own self incrimination, but he must comply with the subpoena.
