If a misdemeanor conviction is sealed can a state regulatory agency still see the conviction?

Hello. It depends on the manner in which the file was originally sealed by the court. If not properly done, a regulatory agency may still be able to see the arrest and the original charge, including a conviction. If you were represented by an attorney when the record was sealed, you should contact that attorney and ask to what extent the file is sealed from a state regulatory agency. If you did not have an attorney, you should retain one to assist you.
