Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

Misdemeneor: Can I still leave the country?

I was arrested for possession of marijuana a last year and was essentially let off. I am not under probation but something like supervision. I would like to go to Germany this summer with a my highscool, however, I hear that I may be on some sort of no-fly list becuase of my standing. The trip is expensive enough to tack on a(nother) court fee. Do I have to schedule a court hearing and pay the monsterous fines just to get permission (or not) or is there some sort of form I can fill out as a request? Can I write a letter of some sort to someone stating my request and have it done that way?

Or was the information tainted and maybe I can just leave without letting the court know? I am not under probation or anything, but as stated before supervision. There is no one I have to visit and I can leave the state. Were I not going overseas I would just have to write out a request. Is going overseas different?

Thank you for your time.

You need to look at your court order and see what the restrictions are. Does is say that you cannot leave the State? If it does you need to get the permission of the court to leave Illinois and travel to Germany.
