That depends on your criminal history. If you are a first offender, you will probably get supervision upon a plea of guilty. This is not a conviction. If you are found guilty after a trial, you will probably get a conviction, but no jail time. The worst case senario is 364 days in County jail and up to $2500 fine plus court costs. If you are sentenced to jail for battery, you cannot earn good time for an early release. Hire a lawyer.
