Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
motion to withdraw guilty plea agreement
I entered into a plea agreement and now,one week later, after finding out all the consequences of this agreement, would like to withdraw my guilty plea. How would I do this and can I force my lawyer to take it back to court since he was paid $5000 to take my case to trial?

Well, the first thing to do would be to discuss this matter with your attorney.

Yes, you probably can withdraw your plea if the court has not already concluded the case. Your attorney should try to do this for you. You cannot force any attorney to continue working for you - it is up to the court - if he wishes to withdraw, he must go in front of the judge and get permission.
