Person A and person B agree to rob a store.Person A purchases the supplies to rob the store. It is agreed that no weapons will be used. On the day of the robbery person A watches the door while person B does the actual robbery. While guarding the door, person A hears shots fired. Person B had shot a worker in the store, the worker dies.What all possible crimes may person A and person B be charged with? What would be the mens rea and actus reus be in this case? What are the potential defences person A and B could have? What are the chances of the State proving the crime based on the facts? What are the chances of the possible defences prevailing?
