Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

Parking Ticket and Court Supervision

Okay:

Under the terms of my DUI Sueprvision it states that I am not to violate any jurisdiction's statutes or ordinances.

Today, I went downtown for an interview with the US Border Patrol. What was supposed to be 2 hours, took 5, and thus, I was given a parking ticket when I returned to my town.

My question is am I screwed and what will happen?

I am a first offender DUI on supervision.

Re: Parking Ticket and Court Supervision

Hello. Be prepared to deal with this matter should it be brought to the court's attention. As long as you don't tell it, you may not have a problem. Generally, the conditions set forth in your case are designed to keep you from driving while intoxicated.

There is a good chance the court and the office

of the prosecutor will overlook this violation.
