IF i JUST WENT I know that would be a Violation of Parole I am 62 years old. Do you think IL would Extridite me back to serve that one year, I need to go home, It has been four years. I don't care if there is a charge on me in Ill. I need to go home

Re: Parole

If you go to Vermont, you may not see Vermont again for a long, long, long time. I suggests that you retain a lawyer in Vermont, or give a family member a power of attorney to act for you in Vermont in order to evict the squatters. Illinois, in my opinion, would bring you back and you then could be in danger of having to serve out the rest of your jail time.

Re: Parole

Talk to your parole officer. It may be possible to obtain permission to leave the state of Illinois to travel to Vermont on a temporary basis to take care of your home there. Also, it may be possible to obtain an early release from parole so that you could go to Vermont and stay there if you wish. Finally, it may be possible for your parole to be transferred to Vermont and supervised there. Consult with an attorney in the Illinois county where you are on parole.
