Re: Penalty for Class B misdemeanor

You need to consult with an experienced criminal defense attorney in your area. If this is your first offense it is possible that a plea bargain may be negotiated under which you would receive "supervision" and avoid a conviction on your record. I have handled many such cases, and you may call me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822. My office is in Clayton, MO, but I practice in many Illinois counties.Good luck!

You should have an attorney, and one that is versed in criminal defense work. A class B misdemeanor carries up to 6 months in jail.
