Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
The police came to my home and left a message that my name came up in a year old felony theft investigation and they want me to come to the police station so the can'' talk to me''! do I have to
go? There is no warrant for me for anything.

I suggest that you talk to a lawyer in your area about this contact from the police. Although you believe that the police do not have a warrant for your arrest, they may have probable cause to arrest you.
