Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
Someone (I know who it was) posted my phone number in the casual encounters forum on craigslist asking men to call or text me for sex. I have filed a complaint with craigslist as well as the IC3. I also plan to report this to my local police department. My (work) phone was inundated with calls and texts before the ad was finally removed. I am, of course, fighting mad over this. Will this person be charged for criminal harassement and/or identity theft?
