Probable Cause
If an individual is arrested and interrogated by the
police without probable cause,but during the interro
gation he gives the police information of the involve
ment of another individual in an unrelated crime and
that person is arrested by the police solely on that
information,can the second person's arrest be surpres
sed,if the first person,s case is dismissed for lack
of probable cause?

In practice this is not done. The
information obtained by police is
considered a tip, and based upon
the tip the police officers took
action.
