what the pro-call for a public defender when bail is paid for a person over $5.000 .. can they remain on the case or what

Odds are if you posted $5000 in bond you will not qualify for the public defenders office. You can fill out an affidavit of assets with the court to see if you qualify for a public defender. It will depend on the charge and your income.
