Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
prosecutional misconduct
If a person is under federal indictment, can a prosecutor post an article on his personal website stating that this person is a lifelong conman etc. ? Wouldn't these statements prejudice this person from receiving a fair trial? Is this conduct against the law? Can this U S Attorney be sued?

Re: prosecutional misconduct
This is a unique legal question. Generally speaking, you cannot sue a US Attorney unless what they do is outside their duties. This woukld take a lot of thinking and research. Good luck.
